vitaliilavreniuk

software engineer · product builder

I take products from an empty repo to the App Store — with a team (MISTO, three awards) or solo (my own apps, live since 2018). The grey code behind this page is my résumé, written in Swift: move your cursor, or tap, to shine a light on it.

StartupSoftsenior iOS · 2025–26AI creator monetization platform. iOS architecture.

$ cat commercial/startupsoft/README.md

problem
An early-stage AI creator monetization platform: pre-launch, with features and API contracts changing all the time.
my call
Drove the iOS architecture: modular SwiftUI features that survive product changes, and a networking layer that absorbs evolving GraphQL and REST contracts.
result
Stability improved through targeted memory and lifecycle profiling.

MISTOled iOS · 2024–25City services in one app. Led iOS from zero to launch.

$ cat commercial/misto/README.md

problem
A B2C/B2G app that has to host a whole city’s services in one place.
my call
A modular service-domain architecture; owned iOS architecture and direction from greenfield on a two-person team, with code-review and architecture standards.
result
Official launch in January 2025, first city rollout in Odesa in March 2025, three awards.

Hands-on: parking payments, live public transit, air-raid alerts with shelter maps, power-outage schedules.

LetyShopslead iOS · 2022–24Cashback at scale. Lead iOS.

$ cat commercial/letyshops/README.md

problem
A mature, high-traffic cashback platform carrying legacy areas.
my call
Led iOS technical direction: refactored legacy areas and became the main reference for iOS engineers in architecture and code review. In my second year, also led a new project from its start.
result
Less technical debt; performance-sensitive cashback and shopping flows shipped.

Screenshot Studioopen source · 2026App Store screenshots as code.

$ cat indie/screenshot-studio/README.md

problem
Store screenshots for App Store, Google Play and Microsoft Store, across locales, RTL and exact device sizes.
my call
Code-first and local-first: the visual editor and the CLI share one renderer, a whole campaign lives in one git-tracked JSON file, and the tool is built to be driven by AI coding agents.
result
The preview matches the exact-size export; covered by Playwright end-to-end tests and GitHub Actions CI.

VITALII(1)General Commands Manual
NAME
vitalii — builds products end to end, iOS first
SYNOPSIS
vitalii [--cofounder | --startup | --lead]
DESCRIPTION
Takes a product from an empty repo to the App Store: the architecture, the first release and the years of updates after it. Has done it with a team (MISTO, three awards) and solo (own apps live since 2018). iOS is home, macOS next to it; web, CLI, Android or cross-platform when the product needs them, built AI-assisted.
OPTIONS
--cofounder
co-owner or partner: product, architecture, the first release. Any domain — it depends on what we build.
--startup
first or early engineer: from MVP to launch, then iterate.
--lead
iOS lead in a large product: architecture, code review, mentoring.
REVIEWS

“Vitalii delivered several critical features for our product, always balancing performance with maintainability.”

— Oleks Maistrenko, CTO at MISTO, managed Vitalii directly

“What stood out most was his ability to make decisions quickly without sacrificing quality or consideration — he evaluates options, asks the right questions, and moves forward confidently.”

— Denys Zabrodko, Senior iOS Engineer / iOS Tech Lead, same team

“Communication with him is always easy, constructive and transparent — he is able to clearly formulate thoughts, is open to discussions and quickly finds a common language with the team and stakeholders.”

— Natalia Orykhivska (Ivashchyshyn), Senior Recruitment Specialist at StartupSoft, different teams
